Squidoo Lens or Blog!

. What exactly are these? How is Squidoo related or co-related to Blogger. If I talk in simple language, there's more of a similarity than difference in basics of both. Both are the writer's own pages where he can write about anything, just anything. If you wish to earn from the same, you need to give to the audience whatever they are looking for. You can make as many pages as you want in both, write about topics of interest both your's and your audience's, post pictures. Its a kind of a diary which you are sharing with others.What is Blogger here...is Squidoo there. Whats a Blog here...is a Lens there...you are a Blogger here and a Lensmaster there. And the best part is that BOTH ARE FREE!! Now lets point down some independent features of both for better understanding -

- the domain name you get on either will not be a custom one, it will have Blogspot or Squidoo in its url.
- its much easier to write directly on your page in case of Blogger whilst using the fonts, spell checks etc as compared to Squidoo.
- Blogger gives you more freedom of choice to beautify your pages but its not so with Squidoo.
- Squidoo's drag and drop modules are really user friendly.
- you can easily do anything at Blogger but remember to save simultaneously or you could as easily screw up all you did!!
- gadgets and widgets are easier to be set and used at Squidoo than at Blogger.
- placing a link in your text is much easier with Blogger with its link module than at Squidoo.
- Squidoo has a maximum limit size for the pictures you wish to upload , so that can be troublesome at times, resizing your images every now and then unlike at Blogger.
- both give traffic and royalties if you write what people want to read.

With all above information, I think you are now ready to Squidoo and Blog. Just consider the demand and supply and enjoy.
